The protection of personal data is of utmost concern to us. Thus we process personal data in compliance with applicable legal requirements designed to protect such data and ensure data security.

This privacy statement (“Privacy Statement”) covers the use of and conduct with personal data and information, provided by you to Océ’s online recruitment system which is offered for recruitment pur-poses at Océ and Océ Group companies (“Océ”). By submitting and saving your personal details to our online recruitment system, Océ will understand that you agree on giving your explicit consent to Océ and to the relevant third party that Océ has ap-pointed as its service provider, to control, save, transfer and process your personal data (processor on behalf of the controller).

Collection and Use of Personal Data

Océ collects your personal data for the purposes of managing Océ’s resourcing, recruitment activities as well as for organizational planning purposes across the Océ Group. Consequently, Océ may use your personal data in relation to the evaluation and selection of candidates including but not limited to setting up and conducting interviews and tests, evaluating and assessing the results thereto and as is otherwise needed in the recruitment processes, including the final recruitment. Further it might be necessary to process health data in order to assess your fitness for employment, especially if this is essential in view of the given job profile,

Océ may collect personal data directly from candidates as well as information sources that are publicly available. As it is prohibited under EU Regulations 2580/2001 and 881/202 (Antiterrorism-Regulations) that any persons involved in business transactions, provide certain persons, groups and organizations monies and other economic values of any kind, we are further obliged to check your data with EU-Antiterrorism-lists.

We do not apply automated data processing methods in order gain decisions or otherwise use your data for profiling services.

Personal data shall not be retained in a form which enables the identification of a person for a longer period than required by the purpose. We will delete your personal data, if and so far there are not relevant anymore for the above purpose.

Notwithstanding the above Océ may always delete your data without further notice. Thus we recom-mend retaining copies of any personal data you may have provided to us.

If you are successful in the Océ recruitment process and become an employee, your personal data will become part of your employee file and may be used for employment/work-related purposes. Your personal data may also be subject to further additional privacy terms related to Océ employees.

Scope of this Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement covers any personal data that you submit through our online recruitment sys-tem or Océ’s collection from the publicly available sources, including but not limited to:

  • Log-in and password and other such information used in connection with authenticating you
  • CV, cover letter, previous work experience, education level, competences and skills and how you heard about the position
