Want to create the optimal user experience across our portfolio?

As a UX Designer at Canon Production Printing you (together with your colleagues in the design department and stakeholders in the business and the software development teams) will help to find correct functional requirements and translate these into user interface designs. In doing this, the alignment within our portfolio is an important aspect. We create a design system to assure this alignment. Together with the other designers in the department, you will work on advancing our print concepts and design system in a consistent way, for the products of today and the future.

Challenging work with ownership

Your design choices matter! As a UX designer, you can really have impact with your design choices. Together within our multidisciplinary teams, you work on the real products that actually go to the market.  This means varied and challenging work like sketching, model making, wireframing and much more.

International company with a big R&D campus

You are able to work very hands-on. Application software and controller software are an important part of our development program at R&D. A suite of applications together forms a print workflow solution for professional printing companies.

Open culture and multidisciplinary teams

Knowledge is power. We have an open culture where colleagues work together in multidisciplinary teams and are willing to help each other. We provide an exciting, dynamic work environment with plenty of opportunities for you to develop personally and professionally.

Meet your colleagues

Our international organization has a flat hierarchy, so you’ll be working with lots of other people in an open, creative multidisciplinary environment. That includes our other departments, designers, developers, and architects.

“It’s always possible to take assignments in different fields. It’s good that there are opportunities to grow and expand your horizons.”

“As a Product Designer, I see myself as a guide for the human factors and machine-human interactions which determine what the engine will look like. I use a range of tools, from sketches to CAD modelling in my work. Due to the size of the machines, VR is a highly valuable tool.”
